When Scheduling a Video Mediation Let Your Mediator Know the Geographical Locations of the Parties

Before video mediations became widely used almost all mediation participants were physically present at the same location. There was rarely an issue about choosing a starting time for the mediation conference. Now, however, video allows parties and their counsel to participate from different states or different countries in widely separated time zones. So, when scheduling a mediation let the mediator know who will be where so a starting time can be set to reasonably accommodate all participants.
